Can I lose weight without Dieting

What You Must Know Before Dieting “ A Fad, Fab or Sickening

"Never rush into something you want to last forever"
- Prabal Arora

Like me, have you wondered why many people go on a diet? Is it making them fat, sick or healthy in the long term? Do you know even a single person who says I am going on a diet because I want to be fit and healthy, or do you see people around talking about diets when they have to lose weight?

Do you wonder if their Advice Works for a Lifetime?

Do you or you know people who keep seeking others' advice to see what you should eat and what should not to lose weight or get fit and strong? And when you do so, don't you get bombarded with hundreds of suggestions? Don't you get confused about what to eat, what not to eat? Do you realise that every time you ask a food specialist or a family member, you get a new suggestion, a new diet! Is it all required or we can use our common sense or find someone who has done it, maintained the same physique or weight for over a decade at least and see if could follow that way?

The most significant barrier to learning is assuming you already know.

Do you Really have to go on a DIET to Lose Weight?

Isn't the word 'DIET' derived from the Greek language - meaning 'A way of living'? Then, could there be a better way of following a diet which we may enjoy for the rest of our lives? Shouldn't it become our way of living? If it's our way of living, then how can we go on a crash diet or no carbs diet? Is that not a temporary solution? Do we really have to starve to achieve what we wish to? Could there be a better way?

What if we could eat for pleasure and performance both? What if we never have to starve, could eat what we want to eat and remain healthy, happy and fit forever?

It's not a short-term diet; it's a long term lifestyle change.

I love Carbs to keep me Strong and Fit - Do YOU?

Do we really have to cut out all carbohydrates or all fats, to lose weight? Isn't weight loss due to eating less food and not because we are not eating carbs or fat? Even if we are cutting down on carbs, is this the best solution to lose weight or remove fat from your body? Is it long-lasting or temporary?

Doesn't our body need carbohydrates, fat, and protein and in the right balance. Doesn't it affect our metabolism when we go into starvation mode? Have you experienced or known someone who goes on a diet, even if we lose loads of weight, we seem to put it back on again - and more because we slowed our metabolism down while we were not eating enough food!!

Isn't it that more muscles we have, faster metabolism we will have? Don't we lose more muscles when we often diet and, in the process, we aim to remove what we love to eat? Isn't it when we think that we can't have it, we want it more, think about it all the time and end up binging on it? Don't you think your eating plan should always include those things that you like to eat, because if you tell yourself you can't have, must have, shouldn't have, don't have, there will be a bounce-back effect? Would you not land up eating more as you deprived yourself of that food for a while?

Create Healthy Eating habits, not Restrictions “ My mantra for an Enjoyable living for you.

Have you ever tried exercising without having enough energy?

Doesn't the flab around waist, arms, hips, thighs or anywhere on your body, have to be burnt away. Isn't it actually fat and not carbohydrate? Isn't it the stuff that's sitting between our skin and your muscle? Doesn't it have to be burnt away by turning your body into a fat-burning machine? Isn't exercising regularly with energy the only safe and long-lasting way to get rid of it?

Don't you have to get puffed, lift heavier weigh to burn fat faster! Isn't it that heavier you lift, more of a fat-burning machine you become? And to get puffed, to lift heavier where does the energy come from? Obviously, carbohydrates which are glucose in glycogen.

So, should you not be careful about cutting out carbohydrates from your diet? Won't you need it to perform at your optimum level and for your brain to function as it requires glucose that comes from carbs only? Isn't it a better idea that instead of looking carefully at carbohydrate, perhaps have a little closer look at how much fat we're eating?

Getting FIT is not about weight loss; it's how you feel again.

Do those food Gurus/families/friends ask you some fundamental questions?

Now if somebody “ a food guru or a dietician is telling us what to eat, don't you think they should have asked these questions first - how old are you, are you male or female, how fast or slow is your metabolism, how much exercise do you do, how much energy do you need to get you through your day? Do you have the energy right now before anybody tells you that you should cut out carbohydrate, or not eat that or don't have that, or that's bad for you? Shouldn't they be asking you what you don't like to eat and what you want to eat?

Could there be a steady diet plan, which could be followed for the rest of your life “ something you could enjoy, relish and love to eat forever? Have you found a steady diet-plan which you have been following for years, and it's working for you? If yes, then you are doing great. Congratulations! However, isn't it worth asking a few questions from yourself:

1. ENERGY:
a) Do you wake up in the morning with full energy and stay energetic throughout the day?
b) Do you feel excited and high on energy while exercising?

2. PERFORMANCE: Are you always performing at your top level in every area of your life:
a) Efficiency at your workplace/in your profession
b) In your personal life “ parenting, relationships, sexual stamina,
c) In your sports

Or do you feel there is more potential in you to be explored?

3. BODY: Are you delighted with what you see in the mirror- in and out of your clothes?

4. RESULTS: Are you satisfied with the results you are getting in every area of your life by the way you are eating, or you think there is more you could achieve?

"Be the change that you want to be in your body."

What if you could Eat what you Wished for, Lose Weight and be Healthy, Fit and Strong?

If the answer is 'NO', then could it be that if you need inspiration or information, find the healthiest, happiest, least emotional, funniest person in your world, who loves to eat, who loves to exercise and has maintained a healthy, stable weight for more than 20 years and rarely gets sick and perhaps ask them what do they do? How amazing would that be when we find that they eat real food and move regularly, enjoy treats without guilt, and they NEVER diet?

Does it suffice to say that there are no right or wrong foods, it's only the quantity we eat? What if we eat for pleasure and performance, exercise regularly to have a healthy head and body - EVERY DAY, for all of our life?

Eat Everything but EXERCISE “ My Mantra of remaining FIT & Strong.
